Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the membership of the Central High Alumni Association of Guyana (New York Chapter) will be held at:

  1. Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.
  2. President’s Address.
  3.  Treasurer’s Report
  4. Adoption of Statements.
  5. Nominations for Officers of the Executive Board*
  6. Election of Officers.
  7. Any other business as may properly come before the meeting.

Positions up for election are:

    • President
    • Vice President
    • Secretary
    • Treasurer
    •  Assistant Secretary Treasurer
    •  Associate Members (3)
    •  Ex Officio Member (1)

Recommendations for Potential Candidates:

Anyone in the Alumni Association (membership is defined in the Bylaws as being a financial member) may nominate a candidate or themselves. All nominations should include (1) names, (2) what positions you are nominating the person(s) for, and (3) your own name, and email. Nominations will only be accepted if sent to admin@chaag-na.org via email or you can also fill out the nomination form on our website, chaag-na.org.  All nominations must be submitted on or before April 20, 2018.

All nominees of candidacy will be contacted to inform them that they have been nominated and to inquire if they are interested in the position(s).  If anyone has any questions or concerns please contact us by email.  The Central High School Alumni Association of Guyana (New York Chapter) encourages your involvement and advice to make the Alumni Association as strong and successful as possible!
